If you’re new here, let me paint a little picture of who we are.

We’re an outside family through and through.

Sun-up to sun-down, that’s where you’ll find us. Hunting in every season, working around the homestead, chasing kids through the yard, feeding animals, or just soaking in the fresh air together. Being outdoors isn’t a hobby for us… it’s our way of life.

And almost everything we do, we do with our boys right beside us.

They’re part of the hunts, the chores, the market prep, the garden planting the whole messy, beautiful mix. We wanted a simple, meaningful life for them… one with dirt under their nails, critters to care for, and memories they’ll carry forever.

Somewhere in the middle of all that life, Woods + Butter took root.

Not from a business plan, but from a “how can we help our own family feel better?” moment and batch by batch, it grew into something far bigger than we imagined.

So let’s meet the family…

Brad

The steady one who keeps us grounded.

My scent-tester, my partner in every wild idea, and the late-night chapstick labeler who never complains (even when he probably should). He’s the quiet backbone of this whole operation. The one who keeps me calm when I’m convinced everything is going wrong, and the one who pushes me to expand when doubt creeps in.

I’m sure there are nights he wishes I’d fold laundry instead of pouring candles… but he still shows up for me, every single time. He’s my soulmate, my best friend, and the reason I get to chase this dream with both feet under me.

Walker

Our deep-thinking, dino-loving little outdoorsman.

He’s growing into the sweetest little hunter. Always curious, always learning, always wanting to help. He’s actually the spark that started all of this. Trying to soothe his eczema and get back to whole-ingredient products for him is what set this entire journey in motion.

Waylon

Our wild water baby.

If there’s water, he’s in it. Duck pond, sink, puddle — doesn’t matter. He’s goofy, snuggly, and has a laugh that could brighten anyone’s day. And of course… he has to “niff” every soap and candle we make. He takes his job as Official Sniffer very seriously.

And then there’s me — Megan.

The maker, the mixer, the “I’ll figure it out” one behind every product.

I never expected to fall in love with building this brand the way I have.

Hearing your stories how a balm helped your little one, how a scent brings someone comfort, how a product made a difference in your home truly warms my heart. It’s what keeps me going on the late nights, pushes me to learn more about herbs, ingredients, and natural remedies, and inspires me to keep finding ways to bring whole-ingredient, old-fashioned care back into people’s lives.

This business grew out of love, need, and a whole lot of trial and error… and now it’s part of who I am.
